About the Speaker
Geoff Mead, PhD is a writer, storyteller and freelance academic. He is Associate Professor of Narrative Leadership at Hult Ashridge International Business School. He has recently completed an MSc in Creative Writing for Therapeutic Purposes. Following the death of his second wife from the effects of a brain tumour in 2014, he published a memoir, Gone in the Morning: A Writer’s Journey of Bereavement (JKP, 2017), a children’s book, Bear Child (Floris, 2018) and several volumes of poetry. Geoff has four grown up children, five grandchildren and an entirely unreasonable love of Morgan sports cars. He lives with his beloved Cockapoo, Ted, and divides his time between his late wife’s house in the Cotswolds and a flat in Lyme Regis where he dreams and writes in sight of the sea.
